Important about the prices
The prices below are indicative starting prices based on publicly available Danish sources in 2026 and may have changed by the time you read this. Tesla adjusts prices regularly, and the final price depends on variant, options and taxes. Always confirm the current price on tesla.com.
Indicative starting prices (Denmark, 2026)
| Model | Indicative starting price |
|---|---|
| Model 3 | from approx. DKK 270,000 (Standard) |
| Model Y | from approx. DKK 300,000 |
| Model S | premium segment — see tesla.com |
| Model X | premium segment — see tesla.com |
The Model 3 Standard has been advertised as Tesla's most affordable model in Denmark to date, with a starting price around DKK 270,000. The Model Y starts higher, as it's a larger SUV. Top variants and options raise the price considerably — a well-equipped Model 3, for example, can reach well above the starting price.
What affects the price?
- Model and variant — Standard, Long Range or Performance.
- Paint, wheels and interior — options are added on top.
- Software — e.g. the Full Self-Driving package.
- Taxes — registration tax and the current Danish rules.
- Campaigns and referral — can lower the effective price.
How to get the most for your money
To keep the price down, start with the variant that covers your real needs — see our guides to the Model 3 and Model Y. Also think about total cost of ownership, not just the list price: read Tesla total cost of ownership. And remember the referral benefit, added on top at no extra cost.
A referral lowers your real price
The current referral benefit is either free Supercharging or a discount/account credit. That reduces either your charging cost or the price itself — without you paying more.
